Dr. Curtis Hill, MS LPC NCC
THERAPIST
Dr. Curtis Hill has over twenty-five years of experience in higher education, and he has leveraged that experience to serve clients as a Licensed Professional Counselor. His tenure in higher education included serving as a Vice President, Director of Counseling, and Counselor. Also, his background includes teaching counseling courses through the graduate programs at Prairie View A&M University and Southern Arkansas University.
Dr. Hill’s counseling and life coaching experience extends beyond higher education as he has facilitated groups for “non-offending” fathers with Dallas County Child Protective Services; Bill Glass Prison Ministries where he worked with offenders on death row in Texas; and provided leadership in the Free at Last support groups in the Counseling Ministry at Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Church—Anger Management, Boundaries, Pre-Marital Counseling, Relationship Strongholds (Co-Dependency), and Satisfied Singles.
He is a lifelong learning that continues to develop his relational skills evidenced by becoming a Safe Conversations Master Trainer under the tutelage of Imago Therapist Drs. Harville Hendrix and Helen LaKelly Hunt. He earned a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Administration from Baylor University, and his Master of Science degree from Texas A&M University – Commerce where he majored in Guidance & Counseling with an emphasis in Student Affairs Practice in Higher Education.
