Tere Pamela Ortega is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor that has been providing counseling services in East Texas for over four years. Pam received her Bachelor’s in Psychology at Texas A&M University in 2014 and her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at UT Tyler in 2016. She is a bilingual, trauma-informed counselor and she is also a EMDR trained therapist. She has experience working with clients with a wide range of concerns including trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety and more. She specializes in working with individuals that have a history of trauma, specifically survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.
Pam’s approach to counseling is led by believing that the client is the expert of their life so she will listen intently and ask questions to make sure that she truly understands you and your concerns. Her role as your counselor will be to support you, empower you and to walk with you in your healing journey. Her theoretical orientation is known as “eclectic”. This means that she draws from different theories and interventions in her work with clients. She would be honored to walk with you in your journey and give you the support you deserve.
